Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Castaway Cay
Best December-April for the driest, mildest weather; hurricane season (June-November) can affect the call.
Getting back to the ship on time
Confirm the last tram/train time from Serenity Bay before heading there, since it's the farthest point on the island and a late walk back can cut it close to all-aboard.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.

A little history
Castaway Cay was one of the first private islands purpose-built by a major cruise line for its passengers, opening in 1998.
The island keeps a separate, quieter beach (Serenity Bay) reserved for adults away from the family areas.
A dedicated tram and rail system ferries guests between the ship's dock and the island's beaches.
Because it's leased and operated by the cruise line, hours, food and activities are entirely built around ship schedules.
