Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Half Moon Cay
Best December-April for calm, dry weather; hurricane season (June-November) raises the chance of a skipped call.
Getting back to the ship on time
Head back to the tender dock well before the posted last-tender time, since tenders typically stop running 30-60 minutes before all-aboard and are the only way back to the ship.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.

A little history
The island is cashless; charge food, drinks and activities to your onboard cruise card.
Half Moon Cay is a tender port, so ships anchor offshore and shuttle guests by boat.
Arrive early for prime loungers and cabanas; the crescent beach is the main draw.
Bring reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes; the protected bay is calm and family-friendly.
