Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Ensenada
Best June-August for warm, sunny, dry Mediterranean-style weather; winter (November-March) is cooler and rainier but good for whale watching and wine country.
Getting back to the ship on time
Watch the clock closely on any Valle de Guadalupe wine-country trip, since it's 45-60+ minutes from the pier and independent tours have no buffer if traffic or border lines run long.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
