Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit King's Wharf
April-May offers mild temps (70s°F) and lower prices; peak swim season is May-September with highs around 85°F; hurricane season runs June-November though direct hits are rare.
Getting back to the ship on time
Ferries to Hamilton or St. George's run on a fixed, limited schedule, so independent travelers must catch one that gets them back to Dockyard well before all-aboard, since missing the last ferry means an expensive taxi across the island.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
