Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Québec City
Best June-September for warm weather; September-October brings vivid fall colors, while winter (Dec-Mar) is very cold with snow.
Getting back to the ship on time
If you take an independent excursion outside the walled city (e.g., Montmorency Falls or Ile d'Orleans), allow extra time for return traffic on the single bridge/tunnel access routes back to the port.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
