Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Cozumel
Best in the dry season (December-April) with sunny mid-80s°F weather and calmer seas; June-November is hurricane season with a higher chance of rain and storms.
Getting back to the ship on time
If your independent excursion is at Chankanaab or a beach club south of the SSA/Puerta Maya piers, leave at least 75-90 minutes before all-aboard time for the taxi ride back, since the ship departs on schedule regardless of your tour provider.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
