Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit St. Kitts
December through April is driest and warmest (mid-70s to mid-80s°F); hurricane season runs June to November, peaking August-October.
Getting back to the ship on time
Round-island or Brimstone Hill Fortress tours can run long on the single coastal road, so build in at least an hour's buffer before all-aboard since the ship won't wait for independent bookings.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.

A little history
St. Kitts was a major sugar colony; a scenic railway once served its plantations.
The East Caribbean dollar is standard, but US dollars are widely accepted.
Tipping 10–15% is customary; check whether service is already included.
Casual, friendly island culture; a warm greeting goes a long way.
