Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Bergen
Best late June-early September for the mildest temps (mid-teens °C) and longest daylight, though Bergen is Europe's rainiest city so pack a rain jacket even in summer.
Getting back to the ship on time
If your ship uses the outer Dokken pier, confirm the shuttle bus schedule and last pickup time, since it's a long walk through an industrial port area if you miss it.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
