Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Copenhagen
Best May-September with mild temps (roughly 15-22°C) and long daylight; June-August is warmest, shoulder months cooler and quieter.
Getting back to the ship on time
If docked at Oceankaj, budget extra transit time and confirm the last shuttle bus or metro back, since it's a commercial port with no walkable route into town.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
