Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Dubrovnik
May-June and September-October offer warm (22-28C), less crowded conditions; July-August is hot and Old Town's stone streets get extremely packed.
Getting back to the ship on time
Shuttle buses and taxis back to Gruž get slammed with lines right before all-aboard, so leave Old Town at least 60-90 minutes early to avoid missing the ship.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
