Quick facts
Getting ashore
When to visit Reykjavík
Best May-September; Icelandic summer weather is mild but unpredictable (roughly 10-15°C) with near-24-hour daylight in June-July.
Getting back to the ship on time
Golden Circle and countryside tours run 6-8+ hours over remote roads, so book independent excursions with a large time buffer since there's no way to reach the ship faster if you're delayed out there.
All-aboard is ship's time — check it in the daily programme, and set your watch to it.
